The range of work that features in the 17th
edition of the Festival emphasises the impossibility of defining
the creative identity of these women through fixed, inflexible
criteria. What they demonstrate in their films is precisely
the ability to question common assumptions and to constantly
redefine the certainties of reality. Investigating, questioning
and experimenting are the vectors which constitute their
identity.
